Hi everybody, my name is Mark and I have been studying health, nutrition and fitness for the last 40 years.
During this period I have adopted various health regimes to maximise my health in an attempt to stay young and maintain optimal health. As I was a 35 year old first time parent I realised I needed to go that extra mile to try and climb those mountains of youth and keep sporty and fit enough to be able to enjoy that lifestyle with my children.
The reason I created this website was to share my enthusiasm with a like minded audience, and pass on the knowledge and experience I have gleaned through my trial and error experiments.

So now to me and my journey to health
I am currently 58 years old and my journey to health and fitness has involved playing rugby and cricket at a good level in my youth, running 2 London marathons and countless half marathons, and most importantly for me a love of the great outdoors. This affinity for our rugged nature has taken me climbing and walking on three continents.
I am still planning my next expeditions even now and I can include amongst my mountain companions my son and daughter who, thanks to Pa showing the way, also have a similar love of the mountains and healthy lifestyle.
To be truly healthy and living well though it requires an application of physical, emotional, and for me at least spiritual balance. It has not always been easy and through the years, like most of us, I have had my health ‘challenges’. These have been my motivation for change and search for alternative healing over 40 years.
I have studied and practised Yoga and meditation for the last 20 years
and with it gained an understanding of Chineseand Aryuvedic medicine and the Eastern philosophy of life, health and balance.
It is this search for health that has led me to drinking green tea for the last 20 years. Now we have Matcha tea, which is the King of all green teas with profound benefits for physical well being, historically having sustained the spiritual growth of Japanese Zen masters as well.
Here on this site I intend to log and explain the benefits of Matcha green tea, both personal and scientific which I have discovered along my way and share my findings with you.
My further intention is to share the huge knowledge of Eastern health, achieving the balance of mind and body, de-stressing the pysche and living in peace and vibrancy in our hectic and changing world.
